Book block design is what we people used to call 'type-set'.  It is laying out your manuscript so that it can be printed as a book.  It includes removing unprintable characters in your manuscript and font and point selections.  Here are our prices:

•   To layout a book without any pictures, including a Table of Contents, Glossary, Index and other standard items like Acknowledgements, Forewords and Introductions, the price is $35 per hour at a standard pace of  7 pages per hour. (The estimate of pace may change depending on the complexity of your book.)  Therefore, for a 200 page manuscript for example, the price would be (200/7) * 35 = $1000.

•  To layout a book with pictures, maps or other graphics, the standard price per hour is $40 per hour at a standard pace of 5 pages per hour.  So, for a 200 page manuscript, the price would be (200/5) * 40 = $1600.
