Why won’t my whiteboard erase dry-erase markers very well?
If you write something on the whiteboard, then try to wipe it away, it will still be visible, even if you use dry-erase markers. What can I do to the board to make it so the marker marks come off easier?

As long as your board isn’t too old or worn you should be able to repair your board with a simple cleaning. There is a film that will form on your board similar to the fog that forms on glass or windows. You really should rinse your white board each morning with plain water and dry it with a soft cloth like a Micro Fiber cloth. Other cleaners can also leave behind a residue. The more you clean the board the worse the problem.
Solution: Start with a deep cleaning. Easier than it sounds. Take a spray bottle and mix a solution of 50/50 water and regular household rubbing alcohol. Mist the board and give it a good rub with a soft towel like a face cloth. Now rinse with plain water and clean with a Dry Erase Micro Fiber cleaning cloth.
Also… make sure you are using a good quality dry erase marker. Low odor markers tend to leave a lot of residue on the board so they may need to be cleaned more often.
I’ll provide you a link for those micro-fiber cleaning cloths. They really work great on dry erase boards and they’re pretty reasonably priced. Plus they can be washed and used for the whole year.

Blank name tags going green with dry erase marker
Easily erase names and rewrite. Dry erase name tag material is composed mostly of polystyrene, a material similar to pvc plastic. The surface is smooth and conducive for dry erase marker. Different color plastics are available with white leading in popularity.
These tags are perfect for weekend conferences, presentations, or events. Reuse them over and over again with Dry Erase markers. A piece of transparent tape over the print will keep the name a little longer.
Although pin fasteners are recommended for these name tags, magnetic fasteners are sometimes preferred. In the event uniforms are not pin hole friendly, magnetic fasteners are a good alternative. A little more in cost, yet still affordable. Magnetics on the badge will be just another statement in style.
Most blank name tags can be outfitted with just about any type of name tag fastener available. The list goes on and on from neck lanyards to cell phone attachments. Back to basics, we recommend the simple alligator clip or pocket insert as other alternatives while keeping it affordable.
Icebergs are melting and the ozone is thinning, how can purchasing name tags help stop any of this. Good question: A huge, mostly unseen problem we face today is the disposal of our everyday waste. In The United States alone, we Americans throw away over 2.3 billion tons of trash a year. Where does it all go you ask, well that’s another story, but I can tell you it directly contributes to the downfall of our planet.
Saving the planet is everybody’s job. Reusable name tags are doing their part, at least in not becoming part of the tons of trash we throw away each year. The name suggests that it will be around for a long time, reusable. Just another reason to think about blank reusable name tags for your events or employees. Going green has never been so easy.
